If you were one of millions of fans watching and re-watching the Avengers: Infinity War trailer last week, and you happen to be an anime fan as well, then this is something you will definitely get a kick out of this:
itโs not true! Itโs bullshit! I did not hit Tony! I did naaaht. Oh hi Mark XLVIII #InfinityWar pic.twitter.com/aDqgHNkRn4

This moment is too perfect, as one of the standout moments of the Ifinity War trailer was the entrance by Josh Brolin’s Thanos, who in the next moment after walking into the spotlight is seen flooring Iron Man with one punch (a la Mike Tyson in The Hangover). The moment has already sparked a whole series of Thanos memes on the Internet, and this anime-inspired image definitely deserves to be among the top picks.

The image perfectly captures Saitama’s dual feeling of surprise and disappointment in the fact that his battle with Iron Man was so short and easily won. It’s a not just a funny visual meme, it’s a great love note to both the MCU and One-Punch Man series, from a fan who clearly enjoys both.
