Gundam fans dream about getting inside of a giant mech and battling with other fighting robots. Thanks to a new game from Bandai Namco Entertainment, you can now do just that. The company starting streaming a english trailer for Gundam Versus a new game in which players can duel with their favorite Mobile Suits. The game is currently set to ship in the West for the fall and ship in Japan starting on July 6.

The trailer (seen above) shows off epic team battle fighting as well as new effects and features. It will be introducing a new Boost Action feature which includes actions such as a boost dash, boost step, and a new boost dive. Other new features seen in the trailer are Striker Select, and Awakening battle systems. The Mobile Suits announced to be in the game can be seen below:

The new game will be realised in two versions, a regular edition and a Premium G Sound Edition. The physical and download versions of the regular edition game will be priced at 8,200 yen (about $74), but the download version is available at a discount for 7,380 yen (about $67) until August 2. If you buy The Premium G Sound Edition you will receive a total of 35 songs including anime songs and background music from the original works, in addition to original game songs. The special edition will also come with a download code for Mobile Suits that are not going to be released until much later. The limited edition will be price 11,200 yen (about $101), but the pre-release online version will be available for 10,080 yen (about $91) until August 2.
Customers who do pre-order the game will receive special download code for the Gundam games’ 30th anniversary mobile suit Hot Scramble Gundam. The suit is piloted by Meijin Kawaguchi III. Customers who download the game instead of purchasing a physical copy will receive a special Gundam Versus theme.
The other games in the Gundam series, are adapted from arcade games, however the new Gundam Versus was developed specifically for the PlayStation 4. The new game will containtwo-on-two battles but will also have other game modes included as well.
Gundam Versus was created to celebrate the series’ 15th anniversary. Bandai announced back in October that the game will have an English-subtitled release with Japanese audio in Southeast Asia, but now it is officially coming to the West.
