Pierrot has released the first trailer for the upcoming animation series Black Clover, which is based on Yuki Tabata's manga series. Black Clover will be produced by the same team who brought Bleach, Naruto, Boruto and Twin Star Exorcists to life, with the teaser looking absolutely awesome.Tatsuya Yoshihara is directing the anime along while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who is overseeing its composition. Itsuko Takeda and Kumiko Tokunaga will also act as the character designers.

Black Clover's manga series only began in 2015 and since then has managed to ammas an enormous following. As a result, the anime production is already underway and set to hit fans screen in October 2017, on streaming services such as Crunchyroll and TV Tokyo in Japan. This trailer is the first glimpse of Black Clover, which has only recently been released.

Originally published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the story is about a young boy named Asta, who is born with an abnormality. In Asta's world to be born without any magic power is something that had previously been unheard of, however, that doesn't discourage Asta. Along with his newfound abilities (Anti-Magic) and with the support of his friends, Asta aims to be the Wizard King.Asta grew up with his friend Yuno and the two were raised together in an orphanage in the Clover Kingdom, however, Unlike Asta, Yuno is a magical prodigy.

Black Clover has already been compared to many iconic Shonen franchises, with it supposedly being similar to One Piece and Fairy Tail. For those who are unfamiliar with the series, there is still time to catch up with the manga before the anime debuts later this year.Tabata's Black Clover currently has nine volumes already with more than 80 issues released to its name. This is one of the most highly anticipated anime to be released this year, with fans not having to wait too much longer.
