Boruto fans are currently watching Naruto Gaiden being animated, with Sakura already being captured by the evil Uchiha Shin. In episode 22 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, fans watched as Sasuke, Naruto, Cho-Cho and Sarada prepared to save Sakura from Orochimaru's former experiment.

In the lead up to episode 23 of Boruto where there will likely be a clash between our heroes and Uchiha Shin, Boruto animator Naoki Kobayashi has given fans a small glimpse of the fighting to come. In a recent Tweet by Kobayashi, the animator released an image of an angry Sakura in what looks like a punching position. In that image, Sakura looks as if she is screaming whilst hitting something, which we can assume might be Uchiha Shin.

This battle between Shin and Sakura will likely take place in episode 23 of Boruto, with the image showing that Sakura might be winning the fight. The sketch also shows unknown debris falling from above, which may be parts of Shin's body. The debris looks to be a result of Sakura's monstrous punch, reminding fans that she has not weakened since the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War.

The upcoming battle between Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto, Sarada, Cho-Cho, Shin and all the Shin clones will surely be a great one. Sasuke's powers are back, with Shin and his clones being a group of dangerous opponents. All the Shin clones and Shin himself have unlocked the Mangekyou Sharingan, however; they are yet to make a serious impact to the story. Naruto too has been rather disappointing so far in Naruto Gaiden, with fans hoping that he can show them a glimpse of the Naruto from the past. For now though, fans can assume that Sakura will be making an impact first, as Kobayashi has hinted with his sketch of the Team 7 member.
