Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has already impressed diehard Naruto fans, and the anime plans to thank its viewers very soon. The sequel is set to adapt the ever-popular ‘Naruto Gaiden’ manga into a full anime arc, and its episode synopses just teased a brand-new Sharingan user.

The synopses for Boruto‘s upcoming arc have hit the Internet, and guys like Ken Xyro turned them around for English-speaking fans. You can read up on the summary for “The Boy With The Sharingan” below:

“Naruto received information from Sasuke – who’s been traveling the world on a secret mission – about a person possessing the Sharingan, the bloodline talent of the Uchiha Clan. Currently, Sasuke and his daughter Sarada should be the last Uchiha alive. Meanwhile, Sarada – who’s wondering about her ‘real mother’ – decides to follow Naruto with ChoCho in order to meet her father Sasuke.”

The synopsis makes it clear there is a new Sharingan user in town, and anime-only fans are left to wonder who that could be. The Uchiha Clan should be down to two following the deaths Madara and Itachi; Even Kakashi lost his Sharingan during the last Great Ninja War, so it’s unlikely the perpetrator is some twisted version of the Copy-Cat Ninja.

Of course, manga readers will know who the mystery ninja in question is. The ‘Naruto Gaiden’ manga first mentioned the ninja a few years ago. The villain who Sasuke learns about is known as Shin, and he winds up seeking out Sarada because of her bloodline. The Sharingan user tries to kidnap the girl, but Naruto prevents the abduction just in the nick of time.

Shin may wield the Sharingan, but he is not a true Uchiha. The boy readers meet at first is just a clone of the original Shin who was once an experiment of Orochimaru’s. The character wound up leaving his master’s care after he developed an obsession with Itachi’s bloodline and wishes to kill any human who dares get in the way of mankind’s evolution.
