If you are waiting for the final installment of Digimon Adventure Tri, your wait just got a bit easier. The sixth film just dropped its first teaser, and fans are buzzing about the climatic reel.

The trailer, which can be seen above, is a short one with lots to look at. The clip starts out with Augumon speaking before the rest of the DigiDestined are shown. Narration overlays the teaser as each of the heroes are shown. A brief clip shows Gatomon as the animal seems to be erased in the real world, and Ordinemon is shown in all its nefarious glory.

Of course, Taichi is still missing in the film, but Yamato steps in for the leader. The boy is seen wearing googles like Taichi did as a child as he leads the DigiDestined in their last bid to save the world.

If you are not familiar with the Digimon Adventure Tri. series, then you should know it started sometime ago. The first film in the franchise dropped in November 2015 before the second followed in March 2016. The most recent movie debuted this September, and it earned 100 million yen in Japan.

The series itself acts as a sequel to the original Digimon Adventure anime fans grew up with. After growing apart, the original DigiDestined gang is split up as they enter high school and prepare to enter adulthood. Taichi tries to live a normal life until strange occurrences begin to happen around Japan, and the group realizes the Digital World has now become a very real danger to the real world.

Digimon Adventure Tri: Our Future is set to debut next year on May 5. The movie will screen theatrically in Japan and stream online for free the same day internationally. CrunchyRoll has the rest of the films currently hosted on its site, so you can catch up on the last five films before the sixth makes its climatic debut.
