Recently, the official website for Digimon Adventure unveiled the first image of a digital monster known as VenomVamdemon Undead (via ANN). The creature is a new form of the original VenomVamdemon, AKA: VenomMyotismon. The new creature will act as the main villain of an upcoming live-action play based on the Digimon Adventure Tri. movies.

As you can see, the Digital Monster looks pretty gnarly. The character is massive, and its arms are as spindly as they are spiky. The undead monster also has shredded bat-like wings, and its bottom-half almost looks like it was taken straight from a Yeti. That is, if you ignore the monster’s massive purple feet.

If you are unfamiliar with the Digimon live-action play, then you better get hype for the release. The project will follow the franchise’s DigiDestined kids on August 1 as they celebrate the anniversary of their entrance into the Digital World. Hikari suggests the group goes on a camping trip to reflect on their past adventures, but things do not go as planned when the gang realize a secret rests behind their camping grounds.
