Dragon Ball is known for its fast-paced fighting sequences, funny yet emotional moments, and a multitude of loveable characters. Fans of Dragon Ball also get to look forward to seeing new fusions of their favorite characters, something whih keeps them guessing saga after saga.

For those unfamiliar, a fusion is the process of two separate being turned into one as their special attributes, their strength and speed, and their wisdom are combined. Some fusions have created a single being that has power beyond what could of been imagined from the fusees alone.
There are many types of fusions that are have been currently shown in the Dragon Ball lore, such as: Namekian, Fusion Dance, Potara Earrings, EX-Fusion, Merge, and Possession. Some fusions are one user basically controlling the other’s body, such as Namekin and possession, while others are true fusions of two characters. Both are present, and their abilities are seen and sometimeslike in Fusion Dance, and Potara Earrings.
There have been dozens of fusions so far in the Dragon Ball story, but there are also dozens of fusions that fans want to see…so here are 5 Dragon Ball fusions we want to see.
Goku & Gohan
Of course, Goku is the main character behind the Dragon Ball series. He is constantly training and striving to be the greatest warrior possible by keeping the Earth safe from destruction. He has the ability to go Super Saiyan (in all its forms), and his signature move is the all-powerful Kamehameha.
Gohan is the eldest son of Goku, however unlike his father, he lacks a passion for fighting and only fights when there is a need to defend his loved ones. Through the anime we see him grow and learn how to use the power he posses. Like his father he has the ability to go Super Saiyan and according to Vegeta, Gohan’s potential exceeded both Goku’s and his own.
Together they would join to create Gokan, Defender of the Universe.
Cabba & Vegeta
Vegeta is the prince of the Saiyan race, and of the main characters in the series. He starts as a ruthless warrior and killer, but he abandons his past and chooses to remain on Earth and strive to become the universe’s most powerful warrior. His goal is to defeat and surpass the legendary Goku.
Cabba is a kind-hearted and humble Saiyan who doesn’t share the aggressive nature of most Saiyans. He claims to be the protector of those who are weak unlike other ruthless killers who make up the Saiyan race.
Together they would fuse to make, Cageta, a powerful Yin and Yang with the ability for good and evil.
Gohan & Super Buu
Gohan is known for his spiky hair and ability to turn into the Great Ape. He is a shy and smart child. He must use his incredible Saiyan potential and emotional reserves to protect those he cares about. As he grows to become an adult, he becomes a great scholar.
Super Buu is already a result a fusion of sorts from when Evil Buu ate Good Buu (who was turned into Chocolate). This new Majin Buu has an insane amount of power and higher mental capacity than Good Buu. Super Buu has little to no patience and extreme fits of anger. He also holds the insane power to rip through dimensional walls if he is angry enough.
Gohan and Super Buu’s fusion would be called Super Buuhan. The new entity would have the patience and control of Gohan, with the power and chaos of Super Buu.
Future Trunks & Vegeta
Future Trunks is the hybrid son of Vegeta and Bulma from an alternate future. Long story short, Future Trunks lived a different life than present Trunks before their lives that their timelines diverge. Future Trunks is serious and cautious, in the alternate timeline he comes from, the Androids essentially created an apocalyptic hell on Earth. He is also trained by Future Gohan and becomes a gifted fighter-turned-Super Saiyan. His goal is to travel back in time and save his own future by battling the Androids.
Vegeta has some of the greatest character development of any of the characters in the Dragon Ball series. He is first shown as villain, he then makes a transition to an anti-hero, and then transitions into being a hero for the rest of the series. Even though his character changes throughout the series, his hair never grows in length due to being a pure blooded Saiyan.
Future Trunks and Vegeta form together to create Future Trunketa, with the power and ruthlessness of Vegeta and the internal calm, revenge seeking nature of Trunks.
Raditz & Goku
Raditz, is Goku’s olderbrother and is one of the four remaining Saiyans left alive. He comes to find Goku in order to recruit him to conquer more planets. Unlike Goku, Raditz has more personality traits that align with most Saiyans as he is harsh, brutal, and often arrogant. He depends on his power scouter to find worthy opponents and has the ability to go Super Saiyan.
Goku is known for his happy, energetic personality and his love for competition and eating. He never backs down from a challenge, and is incredibly powerful yet is extremely contained, as he values loyalty and morality.
The brothers fusion would create the legendary Raddititz (sounds like a Pokemon name), with the best hair in the universe, and some of the greatest power, if they were to go super Saiyan, no one would be able to stop them.
