Dragon Ball Super hit a milestone with its latest episode. The anime premiered its 100th episode, and the long-awaited release saw Goku go up against the female Super Saiyans of Universe 6. And, as a small gift, the show even gave one of the ladies a new power-up.
That’s right! Caulifla has only been able to go Super Saiyan for a couple days at most, but the warrior has already usurped the transformation. Dragon Ball Super just allowed the Universe 6 fighter to go Super Saiyan 2 during her skirmish with Goku.
As you can watch above, Caulifla challenges Goku to battle once the hero promises she is not ready to go Super Saiyan Blue. Insulted, the girl bulks up into a massive Super Saiyan form that hinders her speed. Goku is able to easily defeat Caulifla in her hulking state since it drains power unnecessarily.
Ever the gentlemen, Goku powers into Super Saiyan 2 to show Caulifla the form she should be aiming for. The girl says the transformation is one she can do, but Caulifla has only been able to do it once correctly. Using Goku as a guide, Caulifla transforms into Super Saiyan 2 before the pair resume their battle, and Goku says he wouldn’t be surprised if she reached Super Saiyan 3 before their fight ended.
Fans didn’t get to find out whether the girl could level up her Super Saiyan powers even further. Kale disrupts the match between Caulifla and Goku when she grows jealous of how the former is taking away her mentor. And, when Kale unleashes her berserker form, all hell breaks lose at the Tournament of Power.
