Dragon Ball Super has focused its attention on Universe 6 Saiyans recently, but Gohan hasn’t been forgotten. In a couple episodes, the anime will put the spotlight on the half-Saiyan, and Gohan will get to let loose in a one-on-one battle.

Earlier today, the first synopses for Dragon Ball Super’s 103rd and 104th episodes dropped. You can check out the summary of “Don’t Go Easy, Gohan! Decisive Battle With Universe 10!!” below:

“Fight against Universe 10! Gohan’s decision!! Universe 10 warriors are cornered by Universe 2 warriors who showed their true colors! Gohan of Universe 7 prepares to go against Botamo and Universe 10 warriors!!”

Judging by the synopsis, it looks like Gohan will get a chance to shine during his showdown with Universe 10. The hero will be pitted against Botamo in particular, so fans will get to see the opponent put his skills to good use. Fans haven’t gotten to see the Universe 10 warrior do much, and their only real staying power is derived from their vaguely Winnie the Pooh aesthetic.

Fans are excited to see Gohan get the spotlight after so much attention was lavished upon Caulifla and Kale – but some still aren’t happy. Rather than being tasked with a more prominent fighter, Gohan did draw a bit of a short straw by facing off with Botamo. After regaining his Mystic Form, Gohan was expected to go all-out during the Tournament of Power, but that has yet to happen. So, who knows? There’s always a chance the Universe 10 warrior has something up his sleeves that will make Gohan power up after all.

The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super‘s current saga can be read here: “According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called “Chikara no Taikai” (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe’s elite warriors?

Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
