This week, fans will watch as Dragon Ball Super returns with another rousing battle. Gohan will find himself pitted against one of the warriors from Universe 9, and the half-Saiyan will discover just how formidable his opponent is. After Gohan's battle end, Goku will be the next warrior to showdown with a Universe 9 fighter, and an exciting synopsis has just been released for the episode.

In the newest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, Goku gets a thrilling synopsis for his battle against Bergamo. You can check out the episode's description below:

"The Omni-Present Match comes to a head! Does Goku have a shot at victory?! The final battle of the Omni-Present Match is Goku vs Bergamo! Bergamo uses some slick talking to get the stadium on Universe 4's side, turning them completely against Goku and the gang! What's more, Bergamo shows off his ability to turn his opponent's attacks into his own power! How will Goku fight this tricky foe? Crusher Bergamo shows his stuff!!"

Clearly, Universe 9 has surprised Universe 7 with its brutal fighting style. Basil took fans by surprise during his showdown with Mr. Buu, and Lavender seems to have a few tricks up his sleeves for Gohan to stumble over. As Universe 9 is the first to face-off against Universe 7, fans are assuming the team will be one of the weakest in the 'Universal Survival' arc. So, moving forward, fans should look forward to even more intense battles.

However, some changes may be made to Dragon Ball Super's new saga. The second-half of the anime's latest synopsis teased the Omni-King may change his mind about destroying all of the universes belonging to losing teams. You can check out the teaser below:

"Omni-King This Week: Taking back his declaration to wipe out the universes?! Accepting Bergamo's proposal, Omni-King announces that if Universe 4 [?] wins, he will withdraw his plan to wipe out universes who lose in the Tournament of Power! What is Omni-King's aim?!"

This month, Dragon Ball Super's story arc kicked off the 'Universal Survival' saga. You can check out the brief synopsis for it below:

"At Goku's request, the Omni-Kings' "Tournament of Power" martial arts tournament between universes now begins! …But this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquished…?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn out…?!"

The "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
