Fullmetal Alchemist fans, prepare to dabble in equivalent exchange. That is, to exchange money for one sick figure from Kotobukiya. The high-end retailer recently announced it would being selling a limited edition statue of Edward and Alphonse Elric. And, when you look at the intricate piece, it will make you wish you could simply transmute yourself one.

Over on Kotobukiya’s website, you can check out the full details about the limited piece. The statue, which goes on sale this August, will run collectors about $150 before taxes or shipping. The figure itself comes with various attachable accessories such as two head and torso sculpts for Edward. The elder Elric brother can be seen crouching down on a platform which varies depending on your purchase selection. A cheaper edition of the figure can be bought which has Edward kneeling on a stone slab; The other has the hero sitting atop a stone platform engrained with skulls, Alphonse’s broken armor, a transmutation circle, and the hands from the Gate of Truth.

If you are not familiar with Fullmetal Alchemist, then you have plenty of time to watch the anime before its first live-action film arrives this winter. The series follows brothers Edward and Alphonse after their mother tragically passes. They attempt to use alchemy to resurrect her, but the attempt takes Edward’s arm and leg – and it takes Alphonse’s entire body. Determined to get their bodies restored, Edward and Alphonse try to become State Alchemists so they can find the location of a powerful item known as the Philosopher’s Stone. But their journey ultimately leads them into a seedy world of government corruption and mass genocide.
This year, fans of the shonen series will be able to see more of the Elric Brothers than they have for some time. In December, Warner Bros. Japan will release the first live-action adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist.
Fullmetal Alchemist will debut in Japan on December 1.
