The first of which is based on the SCV-70 White Base that appeared in over 40 episodes of the original Mobile Suit Gundam series. Often referred to as the “Trojan Horse” for its equine shape, the cushion recreation measures at 60cm long and 40cm high, and has a nice platform where you can rest your head.
The other plush pillow in this collection is Char’s Masai cruiser and this pillow is 60cm long, but 52cm high. It’s slightly bigger than the White Base pillow, so it looks just a bit more comfortable than the other.
Each pillow runs for 6,480 yen, and Premium Bandai is currently taking pre-orders on their site for the two pillows until they’re completely out of stock. The orders are expected to ship out in March, so interested fans should jump on this soon if they’re able.
One Mobile Suit Gundam fan even calculated what kind of power the mechas would yield in real life. Taking one of the most oft-ignored mechs in the series, that fans wouldn’t consider too powerful, they calculated an incredible range that would surely do damage in the real world.
