This Japanese Game Show Has Gone Insanely Viral

Game shows have been making a bit of a resurgence in the United States in recent years, but it looks like Japan may have just raised the bar.

An episode of a Japanese game show dubbed Slippery Stairs has been making the rounds online in recent days. As the name would suggest, the game involves a series of six leotard-wearing contestants, who are tasked with climbing up a very slimy looking flight of stairs. While the concept is fairly simple, the end results are surprisingly dramatic.

The initial video, which you can check out above, was shared by the Youtube account Just Wow me earlier this week. In the process, it’s garnered over 2 million views on Youtube, and a plethora of new fans on social media.
