According to Trailer Track, a new trailer for Ghost In The Shell – starring Scarlett Johansson – will be hitting the Internet before Thursday night.
The report states that the trailer is coming out to be released with the first major release of the new year. xXx: Return Of Xander Cage is slated to hit theaters on January 20, and Ghost In The Shell will air new footage along with it.
The trailer has been given a runtime of 2 minutes and 9 seconds, giving fans hope that plenty of new footage will be released.
Starring Scarlet Johannsson as Major Killian, and also featuring Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt, Ghost In The Shell arrives in U.S. and UK cinemas March 31.
Ghost In The Shell follows Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

The cast also includes Beat Takeshi Kitano as Daisuke Aramaki, Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, Michael Pitt as Kuze, Pilou Asbรฆk as Batou, and Kaori Momoi. The members of Section 9 are played by Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara and Tuwanda Manyimo.
