The history of Japan’s Super Sentai franchise is about to get even more complicated. If you are a fan of Power Rangers, then you already know a bit about the iconic series. After all, the American show was adapted from Super Sentai as so-called spin-off. Over the year, the relationship between Super Sentai and Power Rangers has been a difficult one to suss out, and it’s about to welcome another party. This year, South Korea will debut its first Super Sentai spin-off much like how the U.S. did with Power Rangers.

Now, a trailer for Korea’s ambitious project has dropped, and it’s about as whacky as you’d think. Power Rangers: Dino Force Brave is well on its way to getting released, and fans of Power Rangers: Dino Charge will surely notice some familiar things in the trailer.
The Korean spin-off series is slated to act as a sequel to the 2013 Super Sentai series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoruyger. The company Daewon took steps to make the original series after spending years distributing Super Sentai and Power Rangers titles abroad.

Looking at the trailer, the sequel series does not appear to be a simple remake of the Super Sentai show. It appears that the Korean version will introduce a six characters who will make up the intergalactic team.
So far, few details about the actual Korean series is known, but Daewon has released some information about the show. The company told press the adaptation will be a 12-part series. Daewon chose to take on the project given the popularity of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger and Power Rangers: Dino Charge. As such, the continued series plans to introduce new suits, zords, and more.
