If you are needing a last-minute gift for the holidays, then there is one thing you can get for the anime-lover in your life. The home release of Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale just went out, and you can buy it now.

Sword Art Online’s first film debuted earlier this year, and it has finally hit Blu-ray and DVD abroad. You can purchase the film as a standard DVD or pay extra for Blu-ray. There is also a special limited edition Blu-ray set available, and it comes with lots of goodies.

For $70, the limited edition package will get fans the film itself along with a handful of bonus features. An audio commentary, animation short, soundtrack, art booklet, art card, and rigid box will come with the release. All of the film packages feature both Japanese and English audio, and Spanish subtitles are also available.

If you have not kept up with Sword Art Online’s debut film, you can catch up on the title now. The synopsis can be read below:

'The NerveGear, the world’s first dedicated full-dive device developed by the genius programmer, Akihiko Kayaba in 2022…a revolutionary machine that opened up infinite possibilities for the world of VR (Virtual Reality). 4 years later…. A next-generation, wearable multi-device called the Augma has been released to compete with the NerveGear’s successor, the Amusphere. A cutting-edge machine boasting the ability to enhance AR (Augmented Reality) to the maximum, the Augma offers a safe, user-friendly experience, as it can be used while the player is awake, making it an instant hit. Its most popular title is an ARMMORPG developed exclusively for the Augma, “Ordinal Scale (a.k.a. OS).”
