In advance of the Las Vegas Licensing Expo, happening next Tuesday through Thursday, entertainment companies have been prepping and previewing some of their products and properties all week long. While it’s no surprise that Warner Bros is bringing out Man of Steel, with the movie coming out next year and a need to start moving t-shirts and toys soon, that doesn’t mean DC Entertainment doesn’t have any surprises up their sleeves. The Adam West Batman TV series, one of the most recognizable iterations of any superhero ever, has long been a thorn in Warner’s side, as the TV and licensing rights were tied up between themselves and Fox, with neither studio willing to work with the other on thngs like home video and merchandising releases. Well, apparently the two have quietly come to some kind of accord, because Variety is reporting that fans will enjoy a mountain of new licensed product coming out of the property in the year to come.
