Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen Getting A Lot of Focus

This weekend at WonderCon, Superman writer Scott Lobdell revealed that Jimmy Olsen would inherit a billion dollars, kicking off a story in which the young reporter, long subjugated to those around him and the butt of jokes, would find himself one of the wealthiest people in Metropolis. This week in Action Comics, though, it appears they've got plans for Jimmy that go past just the typical "Mo' Money Mo' Problems," as the gatefold cover for this week's issue has been revealed, showing off Olsen in Lex Luthor's armor. Newsarama has the preview embedded at right, in which incoming (or is it outgoing?) writer Andy Diggle tackles not only the concept of Jimmy versus Superman (apparently) but more supporting cast goodness in the form of flashing back to Lois's first meeting with Jonathan Carroll, her current boyfriend.
