Avengers: New Photos Give Stars a Chance to Shine

While everyone was busy focusing on The Hunger Games this weekend, another round of promotional photos for Disney’s May 4 release of The Avengers leaked out onto the Internet, revealing–well, not very much. Other than one shot of Captain America in action, most of the photos seemed to be little more than an opportunity to give each principal cast member a great close-up to run alongside the interviews they’ll no doubt be giving starting in mid-April all over the world.Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Hawkeye, Nick Fury and Loki each get a glamour shot here, along with a pair of Captain America images where he’s still wearing the helmet.
