At the Batman: Arkham Origins panel at 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed Copperhead as one of the eight assassins featured in the game. While most fans might remember Copperhead as a male character in the old DC Universe, Copperhead is a female character in the New 52, as well as in the Batman: Arkham Origins video game.The Batman: Arkham Origins panel included WB Games Montrรฉal Creative Director Eric Holmes, Armature Studios Game Director Mark Pacini, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, and actors Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker, the voices of Batman and The Joker, respectively.Developed by WB Games Montrรฉal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.ย  Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships.Batman: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise and will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360, the Wii U system, and Windows PC.ย  Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, the handheld version developed by Armature Studio, will be available for PlayStationVita handheld entertainment system and the Nintendo 3DS handheld system.Batman: Arkham Origins will be release on all platforms worldwide on October 25, 2013.
