Are you a fan of Cowboy Bebop? Do you also happen to collect high-end figurines who look so realistic you may think it pop out of the television? If you said yes to both those questions, then it is time you met the newest release from Kotobukiya’s ARTFX studios. The company has revealed its breathtaking Cowboy Bebop figure of Spike Spiegel, and it will have you handing over all your money.

Today, Kotobukiya began accepting pre-orders for the stunning piece. The J-Figure of Spike Spiegel will be sold in limited number and eventually get shipped out in May 2017. At 240-mm tall, the Cowboy Bebop piece is a 1/8th scale replica of the show’s protagonist. The figure looks uncanny to its small-screen counterpart down to its clothing and arsenal. Spike Spiegel can be seen toting a customized Jericho 941 pistol. A deluxe figure will also be sold which gives fan the option of swapping out the piece’s face sculpt and overcoat.

The traditional piece will sell for about $113 before shipping fees are applied. The deluxe figure will run collectors a bit more since its retail price is set at $140.

If you are not familiar with Cowboy Bebop, then you should definitely become acquainted. The story was popularized in the late 1990s after Sunrise turned its original manga into a 26-episode anime. The sci-fi series follows a ex-con named Spike Spiegel who works as an intergalactic bounty hunter. The hero, who captains the spacecraft Bebop, works with his own vagabond crew as they undertake various mission across the galaxy. However, their free-wheeling business comes under fire when Spike’s past comes back to haunt him. The character’s former crime syndicate is tracking Spike down, and both parties are out for blood.
