Can’t wait for San Diego Comic-Con to dust off that Booster Gold outfit? Well, trusted cosplayer, DC Comics is giving you the chance to scratch that itch while making comic history.

DC announced has announced that they’re attempting to set a world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as DC Comics superheroes. That’s a lot of duct tape and face paint. DC will try achieving this lofty goal by hosting multiple venues across the world within a 24 hour period, where the appropriately-dressed DC faithful can amass.

The event will start on April 18 in the following locations:
Birmingham, UK

ยท Cardiff, UK

ยท Kaohsiung, Taiwan

ยท Lille, France

ยท London, UK

ยท Los Angeles, CA, USA

ยท Lyon, France

ยท Madrid, Spain

ยท Manila, Philippines

ยท Mexico City, Mexico

ยท Paris, France

ยท Queensland, Australia

ยท Rome, Italy

ยท Sao Paulo, Brazil

ยท Warrington, UK

From there, the rules are pretty straight-forward. Dress up as a “instantly recognized super hero” (guess that leaves out Ambush Bug), show up at the designated location, and stay put for five minutes so your presence can be tallied for the record. DC is also sweetening the pot with planned costume contests, sweepstakes, and more.

We don’t know about you, but this seems like a perfect photo-bomb opportunity from a Deadpool cosplayer.
