Over the weekend, thousands of fans flocked Anaheim, California to attend the bi-annual D23 Expo, celebrating Disney characters and films in the Anaheim Convention Center.

When comic conventions and geek expos are on hand, cosplay is one of the first things to come to mind. However, when cosplay comes to mind, it often does with images of super hero costumes, video game characters, or even Harry Potter get ups. At D23, however, the princesses come out.
In the gallery attached to the bottom of the page, cosplayers from the around the world are seen at the D23 Expo, most of them dressed as their favorite Disney characters. The Disney umbrella extends to Marvel Studios heroes, however, many attendees elected to go the route of Disney Princes and Princesses.
At the D23 Expo, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts will showcase the creative process of bringing new Disney park experiences to life in A Galaxy of Stories, an exclusive look at the new Star Wars-themed lands currently under development for Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Showcasing models, artwork, media, and a fully detailed model of the overall vision, the pavilion will bring the galaxy far, far away.
Furthermore, the D23 Expo will showcase the upcoming slate of films from Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and Walt Disney Studios. Titles which will be shown off include Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, and Avengers: Infinity War with The Lion King news possibly coming, as well.
On Friday, the convention played host to Disney and Pixar animation titles, revealing upcoming untitled films, footage from the Wreck It Ralph sequel, and revealing details of The Incredibles II.
