Seth Rogan, who is hard at work on television adaptation of Preacher, may have come to agreement with Warcraft director Duncan Jones to have Jones direct episodes of the AMC series.

As reported by /Film, the entire conversation took place on Twitter, which hardly makes it official. Jones was unaware of the project until he noticed Rogen discussing it with Ain’t It Cool News’ Eric Vespe. Rogen then offered Jones the opportunity to direct at least one episode of the series.
@ManMadeMoon @EricVespe @evandgoldberg TV show for AMC. Wanna direct some episodes? (I should note that we haven’t finished a pilot script)

@Sethrogen @EricVespe @evandgoldberg But in all seriousness… I’d eat my own arm off to do it.

On top of that, Star Wars Episode VIII director Rian Johnson got involved in the conversation, after a fan suggested him to Rogen.
@EricVespe I’ve got 2 hands. @ThatJoeMeyers @Sethrogen @ManMadeMoon @evandgoldberg

Again, none of this is official. In fact, the conversation reveals that Rogen and writing partner Evan Goldberg have yet to complete the pilot script, but it’s exciting to see such high profile talent eager to become involved in the project.
