July’s All-New All-Different Marvel Previews #1 revealed Dennis Hopeless and Mark Bagley will take over the relaunched All-New X-Men series this fall. The promotional image found in the catalog show Laura Kinney, the new Wolverine, and the original X-Men (sans Marvel Girl) taking off on a road trip in an classic VW-style X-Bus.

It turns out at least two mutants who will be joining the team for their trip were left out of the original image. Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive first look at Bagley’s cover for All-New X-Men #1, which adds Idie Okonkwo, a.k.a. Oya, and Genesis, Evan Sabahnur, to the team.

Idie was one of Hope Summer’s Five Lights, gifted with thermokinesis. She later enrolled at Wolverine’s Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. Last readers saw of the young mutant her innocence had been replaced by adolescent ennui after being forced to kill the future version of her boyfriend, Quentin Quire.

Evan is a clone of Apocalypse, raised in The World by Fantomex. During the events of Axis, Evan was involuntarily transformed into a full-grown Apocalypse. Once the conflict resolved, Deadpool โ€“ who befriended Evan while a member of X-Force alongside Fantomex โ€“ took Evan into hiding, fearing that the boy would be hunted and punished for his actions as Apocalypse.

The cover also gives a clearer look at the team’s new uniforms, particularly Cyclops’, as well as a vandalized image of the team’s former teachers and, in some cases, future/present selves. Looks like the team is ready to leave their past/future behind.

All-New X-Men #1 goes on sale this fall.
