Injustice: Gods Among Us the game was praised for the extensive story, something uncommon in a fighting game. Of course, it didn’t hurt that it also had a digital-first comic to accompany it, fleshing out the backstory. Now in the midst of “Year 3,” depicting events happening in the third year of Superman’s reign, but before the game’s events, new writer Brian Buccellato is continuing the violent surprises.
