It’s no surprise, then, that the publisher is taking a swipe at DC for their infamous half page Twix ads, which ran in all of their June 2015 comics. And who better to deliver the delicious punchline than Deadpool, with an intrusive in-story advertisement of his own?

In an exclusive reveal with ComicBook.com, Marvel has announced the “Candy Variant” to November’s Deadpool #1, by Dave Johnson. As you can see on the cover, Deadpool and the Rhino’s brawl is rudely interrupted by an advertisement for protein bars, complete with an obscure celebrity as its spokesman.

Subtle, Marvel. Subtle.
