Shortly thereafter, Ciara Renee retweeted one of their tweets on the subject, so it seems likely they heard right.
Of course, that begs the question: What’s actually going on with her character? It seems unlikely she’s just messing with her fans, since whatever other project she would be in Vancouver for could probably use the attention of the extra eyes that the as-yet-untitled CW spinoff show no doubt are getting her social media mentions.
She also, three days ago, posted the following image to Instagram, which you’ll notice says that she’s headed “off to become Hawkgirl” after her plans for what were then the next few days:

What seems most likely to us? If you look to the left, you’ll see the final page of Booster Gold Volume 2, #1 by writers Geoff Johns and Jeff Katz with artist Dan Jurgens. Johns had similar pages that amounted to “This year in [title]” in a number of his projects around that time.
Which isn’t entirely unlike the “extra minute” added to Arrow last year to make way for a teaser ad for The Flash.
Could we see a teaser of some kind that’s either the official teaser for the spinoff series, or just a “next year on Arrow and The Flash” kind of thing that would likely give us a look at the characters for the spinoff in the context of what they’ll do in the existing CWverse shows? Doesn’t seem like an implausible possibility. And it wouldn’t technically be appearing “in the finale.”
Thanks to Flash TV News for the screenshot from Renee’s now-deleted trailer photo.
