Iron Man 3’s International Box Office Best of the Series So Far

After yesterday’s first series of international openings for Iron Man 3, the film is expected to gross at least $100 million at the international box office this weekend, outdoing the first and second installments of the franchise.In France, the film’s $3 million opening day actually surpassed the initial numbers for Marvel’s The Avengers in the country. The film also surpassed The Avengers and all others, setting opening day records, in Taiwan and The Philippines.Each of the previous installments made between $250 million and $350 million overseas, with The Avengers taking in a stunning $895 million in foreign markets.
