Feeling that Phantom Pain? That’s because you haven’t played Metal Gear in a while. Well, Metal Gear Solid V is on the way, and a new trailer that is at times reminiscent of old 70s political thriller trailers, but sometimes jumpcuts so quickly you won’t be quite sure what you just saw, has arrived.
Yes, Hideo Kojima has finally figured out how to compress the 6-10 hours of insane cutscenes from a Metal Gear game into about 6 minutes of video. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain is due on shelves September 1, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360, with a release on Windows PCs two weeks later.
