The Pacific Rim sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising has cast Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega as its lead, and recently we got our first look at Boyega in his Jaegar pilot armor.
As Pacific Rim 2 continues production, we now have a more extensive look at Boyega in his pilot armor, which you can see for yourself in the gallery below:

Boyega’s armor design is armor plating over spandex body suit, which is a lot more free-moving than the full-on armored suits worn by Jaegar pilots in the first Pacific Rim. It’s your basic Batman Begins to Dark Knight upgrade – and hopefully there are some added visual effects to spruce it all up.
Pacific Rim: Uprising will also feature Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, and Jing Tian in Pacific Rim: Maelstrom. The cast also includes Levi Meaden, Adria Arjona, Rahart Adams. Karan Brar, Nick E. Tarabay, Ivanna Sakhno, Zhang Jin, Mackenyu, Shyrley Rodriguez, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji, Chen Zitong, Lan Yingying, and Qian Yongchen.
Pacific Rim: Uprising is currently being filmed, and is expected to hit theaters February 23, 2018.
