When the cameras begin rolling soon on Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, there will be at least two familiar faces for fans of the first film, according to MTV News.Mickey Rourke, who played Marv in Frank Miller’s Sin City, and Rosario Dawson, who played Gail, will definitely return for the sequel, according to an interview MTV has posted with co-director Robert Rodriguez, who seems to be the one largely charged with overseeing the Sin City sequel while Frank Miller works with Legendary Pictures on 300: The Battle of Artemisia.Six months ago, Rodriguez also told the media that Nancy Callahan, played in the previous film by Jessica Alba, would be a major part of the sequel and that Alba had expressed interest in returning.See the interview below, in which the Spy Kids director also suggests that the film is very close to beginning shooting:”I’m shooting Machete next month, and we go right into Sin City,” the filmmaker explained. “It might overlap, but we haven’t done any casting yet, except for the people who we know are already in it and returning. A Dame to Kill For, all those people come back. I just had lunch with Mickey this weekend. He’s all excited to come back, but he’s probably the first one. I saw Rosario too. I ran into her for something else, and she’s pumped. They’ve always been excited about doing another one, so that will be fun.”
