Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton and Carlos Valdes share their opinions on the shipping-craze that makes up a sizable portion of The Flash fanbase.

“I’m afraid of shipping,” Panabaker offered to MTV. “I’m going to be honest, this is my first experience with it and I… appreciate the enthusiasm of the fans, but I… it’s crazy.” Patton then remarked, “The shipping thing is new me, just as a human being. And to be on the show and to have all of that bombarded at you everyday… Sometimes it is very disappointing to see how vitriolic it can get. That’s disappointing to me, because we’re just trying to write a great show, be a part of a great show. And we are so much more than shipping. And our characters (points to Panabaker) in particular, as women, we are so much more than the men we are associated with.”
