Warner Archive Instant, the studio’s resource for hard-to-find, out-of-print and rare movies and TV, is now streaming 50 animated episodes of The New Adventures of Batman and The New Adventures of Superman, with the animated Aquaman series making its debut this June on the popular streaming service. The subscription-based service, which offers access to content that is too niche to support a wide DVD or Blu-ray release, gives viewers access to hundreds of films and TV series episodes running the gamut from fanboy favorites and cult classics to cinema classics – frequently presented in 1080p high definition. Moreover, fans are invited to sample the streaming service for two weeks for free by signing up at instant.warnerarchive.com. Many of the films and TV shows offered on the service are exclusive to Warner Archive and are not (or perhaps never have been) available on services like Netflix or Amazon Prime. Their disc-based service, which has been in effect for even longer than their digital products, offers fans the opportunity to buy Blu-ray copies of Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Beware the Batman, as well as DVD movies like Steel and Legends of the Superheroes.Warner Archive Instant is now available through Airplay on AppleTV.
