Wrestlemania 32 is around the corner, and the biggest breakout star of WWE, probably of WWE history, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is excited. He’ll appear at the event, though in what capacity is being kept secret.

In the meantime, he’s helping promote the event, while also looking back at his first Wrestlemania Main Event, in Wrestlemania 15. With a post on Instagram recapping the event, The Rock wrote about some great advice he received from Stone Cold Steve Austin, his opponent in that event, and a mentor of sorts.
“At that time, Austin was the biggest wrestling star in the world, and our leader,” Johnson wrote. “Austin was also an EXTREMELY shrewd and smart business man when it came to his opponents and always had the final say with who he would get in the ring with.”
So when he said the main event was with the young upstart, The Rock, there were some upset in the ranks. Austin’s advice to The Rock at the time was simply priceless:
“F*ck those motherf*ckers. We’re here to draw and make money and that’s exactly what we’re gonna do. We draw big money, then everyone benefits.”
We can only imagine Austin then opened two Budweisers, chugged them, and threw them at someone’s face.
The Rock thanked Austin for his advice, and said, “it’s my honor and privilege to ELECTRIFY DALLAS and the WWE Universe this SUNDAY at Wrestlemania 32.”
