The Walking Dead To Introduce Familiar Character, Include Big Twist

Still recovering from the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead? Get yourself together fast, because it sounds as if this week’s episode has plenty more in store.

According to Entertainment Weekly, this Sunday’s episode, titled “The Next World,” will introduce a new character who will be familiar to comic book readers, but has a twist that even the most hardcore The Walking Dead fans won’t see coming:

A familiar face from the comics makes his (or her!) debut during Sunday’s episode, but that certainly won’t be the most shocking moment — in fact, even comic book fans probably won’t see this twist coming.

In “The Next World,” a simple scavenging run proves to be more tricky, when the survivors are not the only ones after a goldmine of supplies.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
