The Wolverine Trailer: Jean Grey Cameo Confirmed

In the teaser trailer just tweeted out by The Wolverine director James Mangold, we got to see quite a bit of action, a lot of Hugh Jackman, some new faces…and one notable old one.That’s right, folks–just like the rumors have said, it certainly appears Famke Janssen will appear in The Wolverine–although given the soft lighting and the nature of the scene, a flashback or fantasy sequence doesn’t seem out of the question. Some of that might be a little clearer when the final version fo the trailer is released.So far, even though the rumors leaked quite a while back, Janssen and others had remained tight-lipped on whether she would have an appearance in the film. While “waiting for the call” for X-Men: Days of Future Past, Janssen told an interviewer that she was excited…about the RUMORS of her appearing in The Wolverine.”I heard! I’m very excited about those rumours [laughs],” she said. “After a three-year hiatus and not being able to work because I was developing my own movie, any roles are welcome. So I hope X-Men 10 comes around, with Jean Grey in a wheelchair.”
