A new installment of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade’s comedy series “Between the Scenes,” where they take a humorous look at the small, forgotten stories of big, blockbuster movies, take a look at Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.

The video has the two hosts of a sports commentary show, Cut to the Chase, debating over whether or not Hines Ward’s touchdown in the game between the Gotham Rogues and the Rapid City Monuments should count.

The touchdown takes place during The Dark Knight Rises, when Bane makes his grand entrance in Gotham City by blowing up the football field at the Rogues’ stadium. Ward manages to outrun the blast, and is the only player on the field who survives.

The two hosts continue to debate inane questions like whether or not Bane might be aiming to join the team, all while Gotham is burning. It’s pretty good stuff.

The Dark Knight Rise isn’t the first big superhero movie the UCB has aimed at. Check out their video on The Avengersย as well.
