Wicked first debuted in 2003 to rave reviews and quickly became one of the biggest Broadway hits in recent history. The musical was nominated for ten Tony Awards, winning three, and is currently the tenth longest running show in Broadway history. Fans are hoping that the movie will feature original castmates Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenowith, both of whom saw their careers jump to new heights because of the musical.
