It’s new comic day’s eve here at ComicBook.com, and with the myriad of excellent titles out on shelves right now, it can be easy to get a bit overwhelmed at the choices.

While your pull list might already be full, there are plenty of books that are worthy of your attention this Wednesday, including the five books highlighted on this list. Whether the book is a great jumping on point, a big finale, or just something different than the predominant superhero fare, there’s something here for everyone. Of course, there are more than five books worth your time this week, so here are a few runners-up that you should definitely check out if your wallet permits.

Secret Empire #7 is written by Nick Spencer with art by Andrea Sorrentino and a cover by Mark Brooks. The official description is included below.

Matt Mueller: Hal Jordan And The Green Lantern Corps #25

The fracture has been building in the uneasy alliance between the Green and Yellow, but in issue #25 things might have reached the boiling point.

If you’ve been following Robert Venditti’s run thus far, you don’t want to miss #25, which has wide ranging ramifications for the future of the Lantern Corps, including who the Corps will find itself up against going forward.

Things are going to get worse before they get better.

Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps #25 is written by Robert Vendittiย with art by Ethan Van Sciverย and a variant cover by Kevin Nowlan.

“FRACTURES” part four! In this extra-sized issue, it’s Lantern vs. Lantern as the GLC and Sinestro Corps duke it out over the murder of Sinestro Corps members. And a Lantern turns his back on their friends, embracing the darkness.

Jamie Lovett: Faith And The Future Force #1

Russ Burlingame: Savage Dragon #225

Charlie Ridgely: Namwolf #4

So Marty has had a rough go of it, but there’s no rest for the weary. In Marty’s case, there’s no rest for the shot, stabbed, drugged, brainwashed, and exploded.

Doesn’t matter though, as he’s going to have to put his game face on (figuratively and literallyย possibly) to save his friends.
