According to reports, Ritchson will play Hank Hall. The character is part of the crime-fighting duo Hawk and Dove. Hank will be in a romantic relationship with Dove in the live-action venture, and Deadline has unearthed a character description of the vigilante.
Hank is said to be an “aggressive, offensive bruiser.” The hero’s personality will clash with Dove as the heroine is more “strategic, defensive, and lithe.”
Right now, Hawk is being touted as a recurring role for Titans. Deadline says there is an option open for the vigilante to become a regular in season two. The site also suggests DC is considering a possible Hawk and Dove spinoff series at some point if the characters are well-received on Titans.
Earlier this week, That Hashtag Show broke news that DC was looking to bring Hawk and Dove to Titans. You can check out the show's character description for the latter vigilante below here: "Recurring Female (25-30) [Open ethnicity] Graceful master fighting machine. She straddles the world of being a thrill-seeking and do-gooding vigilante, along with being her crime fighting partner’s emotional anchor and caregiver. She loves him, but fears what he’s become…"
If you are not familiar with the fighters, then you should know Hawk and Duo are a vigilante team from the DC Universe. They were created in 1968 and have worked with the Titans on several occasions. The two fighters were originally crime-fighting brothers, but other iterations have altered the line-up. It looks like Titans will opt to have a couple fill in the role.
