Legends of Tomorrow’s executive producer Marc Guggenheim spoke to ET about the visible chemistry between Constantine and Sara Lance, who as Arrow fans know share some very unique history.
“Oh, it’s really good,” Guggenheim said. “I mean, bear in mind they kind of know each other, I mean they had the small little interaction of, you know, Constantine bringing Sara back to life. So they have a connection. I will say that we’ve got a very randy, bisexual Constantine, and we have a very randy, bisexual Sara, and who knows what could happen if we get the two of them in teams together?”
While the two seem like they’re going to have some fun together, Constantine is here for another reason, and it heavily involves Sara.
“Basically, Constantine is on his own mission, and he comes across this girl who has been possessed by a demon, and the demon knows Sara Lance’s name,” Guggenheim said. “So he comes to the Legends to basically talk to Sara and to find out what is Sara’s connection to this girl, and you’ll have to watch the episode to find out what the connection is.”
You can watch the extended trailer for the anticipated episode here, and the official description for it can be found below.
“After Sara’s (Caity Lotz) encounter with Mallus, the Legends are paid a visit by John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan), a demonologist detective. The Legends agree to accompany him to a present-day psychiatric hospital and they are surprised to discover who Constantine is trying to help. During the exorcism, Sara, Leo (guest star Wentworth Miller) and Constantine go missing, leaving Ray (Brandon Routh) and Zari (Tala Ashe) to try to take care of Constantine’s client.
Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) once again come face to face with Kuasa. Dominic Purcell also stars.”
Legends of Tomorrow will return on Monday, February 12th, at 8/7c on The CW.
