A throwback photo from trainer Mark Twight popped up on Reddit earlier this week and despite Momoa being a little out of focus, it's clear that the former Khal Drogo has been getting in excellent shape to play the ruler of Atlantis. You can see the photo below.
Momoa's excellent physical shape isn't much of a surprise. The actor got his start as a model when he was a teen before appearing in Baywatch Hawaii, but to bring the impressive king of the sea to life Momoa has been putting in intense workouts for the standalone Aquaman film due October 2018.
But if this taste of Aquaman's physique isn't enough to hold fans out until then, they can catch the actor in the upcoming Justice League film due out in November.
Justice League currently enjoys a 4.19 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings. You can find the official description below.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
