The CW has released the official synopsis for "Resist," the Supergirl episode airing May 15.
In the penultimate episode of the season, everything starts to fall into play as three powerful women are all exerting pressure on Supergirl: President Olivia Marsdin (played by Lynda Carter, who recently let slip that Marsdin is secretly a Durlan sleeper agent), Daxamite queen Rhea (played by Superman: Lois and Clark's Teri Hatcher), and Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant, who returns to National City after her hiatus.

Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) grapples with whether or not to obey the President's (guest star Lynda Carter) orders regarding Rhea's (guest star Teri Hatcher) latest actions. Meanwhile, Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) returns to National City.
