What happens when you pit a bunch of heroes against one another? Well, aside from some serious bloodshed, you would probably wind up with some damaged egos. After all, Green Arrow wouldn't take too kindly to the Flash should the latter win. And Supergirl isn't going to settle for anything less than victory. Earlier this weekend, the stars of The CW's DC Comics series decided it was time to argue about which of their characters would win.

Unsurprisingly, each actor championed their role as the inevitable victor. Supergirl's Melissa Benoist felt her heroic role would reign. "She's got heat vision! She flies!"

However, Stephen Amell thinks Green Arrow could pull off a victory if he strategized just so. After the other actors pleaded their cases, Amell simply said his character would let them all "destroy each other" before Oliver comes in to "mop up" the last one standing.

Greg Berlanti, executive producer, was eventually the man who gave fans a definitive answer. He teased fans that they would find out who wins that battle royale in the upcoming four-way crossover between Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow.

It's easy to see why the cast and creators of the epic crossover keep saying the event will be bigger than ever before. Grant Gustin told fans it is "just bigger" and that "almost everyone interacts with every other character at a certain point." So, here is to us looking forward to Diggle's reaction over Supergirl.

Earlier this year, executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly that the crossover is one of the most ambitious things the folks at The CW have done.

"This year, we're doing by far the most ambitious crossover we've ever done. It's basically a huge three-part story that also brings in Supergirl, so it's crossing over all four shows. It's telling one big epic movie of a story. It's not setting up any other spin-offs, it's just big, bombastic, huge action. There's also some really poignant character moments. There's a lot of plot lines, particularly I would say in Flash and Legends, that come to fruition in the crossover. It's by far the most ambitious thing we've ever attempted. I want to say it's by far one of the most ambitious things anyone in network television has ever attempted. It's completely insane."

The producer also said the event would be a faithful adaptation of a familiar storyline. Comic book readers will thrilled to learn that the crossover would feature a nefarious alien race called The Dominators. Guggenheim told the site, "I will say that their goal is very closely related to what was established in the comics, and it does have to do with metahumans. It's very, very faithful to the comics."

The massive event will see four of The CW's most popular dramas come together in an explosive crossover. The three-part event contains three hours of footage, so fans will be treated to what essentially amounts to a film featuring several of the world's most popular superheroes of all time.
