Tonight, Legends of Tomorrow continued their ongoing mission to save Rip Hunter from the Legion of Doom. While the two groups did not face off this episode, the Legends discovered that the mysterious speedster with Malcolm Merlyn and Damien Darhk is Eobard Thawne, and he is hunting for the Spear of Destiny to cement himself back into existence.

On the Legion of Doom's end, they discovered a piece of future technology that can restore Rip's lost memories - but not before meddling with Rip's brain first.

In doing so, they sent Rip to Revolutionary-era America. The episode ended with Rip aiming a gun at George Washington.

And now it appears that next week's episode, 'Turncoat', will pick up right where that left off, as the recently-released promo suggests.

The promo shows the Legends attempting to guard George Washington, accompanied by plenty of explosions and action.

Check out the synopsis for 'Turncoat', which premieres on February 7th, below.

A GOOD FIGHT — When The Legends find a new Time Aberration they learn they must travel to the winter of 1776 to protect George Washington and the American Revolutionary War. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned, forcing Sara (Caity Lotz) to send out Nate (Nick Zano) and Amaya (Maisie-Richardson-Sellers) to help.

Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) who are busy protecting the incapacitated Waverider from their new enemy, are forced to step into roles that they don't think they are prepared for. Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Arthur Darvill also star.

Alice Troughton directed the episode, written by Grainne Godfree & Matthew Maala.
