Being surrounded by characters like Supergirl and Wonder Woman that can take to the air anytime they want can be tough on someone like Batgirl. Well, thanks to her new Bat-Jet, she gets to take to the sky in this week’s all-new DC Super Hero Girls episode, “License to Fly.” We have the exclusive preview clip for you right here, ahead of the full episode release later today. The clip shows Batgirl (voice by Mae Whitman) excitedly showing off her new vehicle – but being tempered by Red Tornado and his silly rules.

The hit webseries DC Super Hero Girls gives the focus to young versions of the female super heroes of the DC Comics universe. The show was developed alongside an equally-popular toy line that includes action figures, high-end dolls, and more, and has since spawned a universe worth of tie-ins. DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisis (get it? Because it takes place at a school!) is the first graphic novel in this world, written by Shea Fontana and drawn by Yancey Labat. It hit comic shops this week, and goes to book stores next Tuesday, July 5. A full-length animated feature is coming this August, as well.
