Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn was a standout in last year's Suicide Squad, with many cosplaying her memorable ensemble worn in the film. With such a popular costume as a precedent, what can fans expect the character to wear in one of her future DC Extended Universe appearances, Gotham City Sirens?
According to David Ayer, who directed Suicide Squad and is set to helm Gotham City Sirens, not a lot of details can be shared about Harley's new wardrobe just yet.
"Let's put a pin in that." Ayer explained, during an IGN interview at this year's San Diego Comic Con. "Maybe next Comic-Con."
But Ayer did tease that Robbie's live-action adaptation of the popular DC Comics character will have, at least, a slightly different ensemble.
While it sounds like fans won't get a look at Harley's Gotham City Sirens costume during this year's SDCC, here's hoping that some news about the film will be unveiled during Warner Bros. Films panel this Saturday.
Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
