It had been teased that Harley Quinn would appear in Gotham eventually, but a new interview with executive producer John Stevens has fans thinking she will appear much sooner.
Actually, he states that she could possibly appear before season three ends.
“We might see [her] in Episode 22,” Stephens told TV Guide.
According to the site, Stephens also said that the character would act as a “launching point” for the events of season four.
This is a shocking announcement for fans of Gotham, as Harley is one of the most beloved characters in Batman history. It has been teased that a character would debut who would eventually become Harley Quinn – she may not be recognizable as Dr. Harleen Quinzel when she first appears.
Gotham returns to FOX tonight at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT.
